Paul graduated in Medicine from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, University of London in 1992 and became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1997. He is on the GMC specialists register for General Adult and Older Adult Psychiatry. Dr Loughlin worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist for Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust from 2001 until 2015. He started in private practice at the Cardinal Clinic in 2002 and has been working full-time private practice since 2015. Dr Loughlin’s approach to treatment is holistic , and not focused just on a diagnosis. Paul likes to work in partnership with patients with respect and empathy, sensitive to the cultural diversity of patients.
