Dr Azlan Luk
General Adult Psychiatry
Dr Azlan Luk obtained his medical degree at the University of Nottingham, trained in general medicine in Essex and went on to complete accredited basic psychiatric training in the Nottingham area. He did his higher training in General Adult Psychiatry on the Oxford Deanery Higher Training Scheme.
Qualifications that are held include Bachelor of Medical Science (Behavioural Sciences). Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (BM.BS) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry; all from the University of Nottingham. He is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and is on the General Medical Council specialist register.
As a general psychiatrist, Dr Luk assesses and manages all major adult mental disorders, with a particular interest in psychosis, mood and anxiety disorders. His style of working is one of a collaborative, holistic and pragmatic approach with the ultimate goal of recovery.
