OVERVIEW:
A group for people with a diagnosis of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. The group will provide psychoeducation and experiential exercises, in a supportive environment where you are with people who are having similar difficulties to yourself. This course is relevant for people with a diagnosis of OCD.
COURSE OVERVIEW:
Aim:
- Understand bipolar disorder
- Understand treatment strategies that can be used to manage bipolar disorder
- Begin to explore and use treatment strategies
- Share experiences of Bipolar
Inclusion Criteria:
- Have a diagnosis of Bipolar Mood Disorder (Bipolar I or Bipolar II)
- Able to reflect on the experience of their illness
- Would like to work on strategies to help manage the illness
- Willing to work in a group
Course Content:
Week 1: Introduction and understanding Bipolar
Week 2: Early detection of Bipolar
Week 3: Living with Bipolar
Week 4: Cognitive symptoms and Bipolar
Week 5: Behavioural symptoms and Bipolar
Week 6: Relapse prevention
