Sarah is a chartered clinical psychologist and approved supervisor with the BPS with over 16 years’ experience working with children, adolescents and their families in a variety of settings.
Sarah has experience of working in both inpatient and outpatient CAMHS settings in the UK and Australia, with special interest in complex mental health and hard to engage adolescent who present with emotion dysregulation, deliberate self-harm, relationship difficulties and low self-esteem.
Sarah also enjoys working with younger children with anxiety and neurodevelopmental issues.
Sarah is trained in a number of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Narrative Therapy, Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She has also experience of basic psychometric assessment and group work with children and young people.
Anxiety, Depression, Relationship issues, self-harm, emerging psychosis and personality disorders, behavioural difficulties.
Currently working online every Friday and alternate Saturdays.
