Working with Cardinal Clinic

Cardinal Clinic has an ongoing commitment to provide education to GPs, not only here at the Clinic but also at your surgery.

We can arrange for one of our Consultants to come to your surgery at a time convenient to you. We can provide a sandwich lunch and CPD certificates if required. Often GPs will request the topic they would like to be discussed; the talk lasts for approximately 1 hour with the opportunity for a Q & A session at the end. There is no charge for this service.

If you would like to arrange a talk at your surgery, please call Louise De Haan on 01753 848503 or email [email protected]

Referral Process

If you would like a patient to be seen at Cardinal Clinic please send a referral letter to Trudy Green, our Referrals Manager.

Please include the patient’s previous medical and psychiatric history and prescription history.

We can assist you in identifying the most appropriate Consultant for your patient based on clinical experience and availability. If you would like any further information, please call Trudy on 01753 869755 or email: [email protected]

Emergencies & Sectioned Patients

A psychiatric emergency when it occurs causes major disruption to the patient, carer and family. We can help GPs organise immediate help, this can be admission to the Clinic, domiciliary consultation or setting up a Section. Cardinal Clinic is pleased to offer a 24-hour crisis helpline for doctors to obtain help when they need it quickly
