Dr Kavita Deepak-Knights is Director of Psychological Therapies at Cardinal Clinic. Dr Kavita Deepak-Knights is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist who works within a wide range of approaches, specialising in cognitive behavioural therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, systemic therapy, solution focussed therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing).

Mindful to the fact that the ‘one size fits all’ approach is not appropriate for working with the complexities that are mental health problems, Dr Kavita Deepak-Knights tailors her therapeutic approach to suit the needs of each and every individual patient.

She is also registered and recognised by all major health care insurance providers.

Dr Kavita Deepak-Knights completed her doctoral level clinical training at the University of Oxford.

She works within the private sector, specialising in the myriad of adult and older adult mental health issues.

Registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and fully accredited with the British Psychological Society (BPS), adhering to their ethical code of conduct.

Holds full indemnity insurance and has regular supervision supporting her own clinical practice.

She is committed to continued professional development and regularly keep abreast of the latest research literature, as well as attending a wide variety of training courses.

Eating Disorders, Depressive Disorders, assessing the cognitive and emotional effects of low dose tryptophan depletion
