Nutan is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist registered with the BPS and HCPC. She has worked in a range of different settings with adults, adolescents, young children and families. She has had extensive experience in both community based settings and in-patient settings in the UK, South Africa and the USA. Her most recent experience has involved working with adolescents with complex mental health needs within an acute adolescent in-patient setting in the UK.
Nutan is trained to use a number of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT). She also draws extensively from systems theory and attachment theory to support her understanding of complex mental health presentations. She values the fact that she can integrate different models and offer an individualised therapy to young people and their families.
