About Gemma

Gemma has an MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of the West of England. As an integrative therapist, she draws on a range of approaches which she tailors to suit each individual client, incorporating Person-centred, Gestalt and Psychodynamic approaches. Gemma has trained in trauma-informed approaches and also incorporates aspects of IFS and CBT into her practice. Gemma has previously worked in charities and educational settings, focusing on self-harm, suicidal ideation, abuse, depression and anxiety. She is passionate about supporting people to understand what helps them as individuals and to be able to ultimately maintain their own wellbeing. 

Gemma is a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
