This website does not provide medical advice

The information on this website is provided for general information only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for assessment, diagnosis or treatment by a qualified clinician who knows your circumstances.

Reading this website, sending us an enquiry or completing an online form does not, by itself, create a clinician-patient relationship or mean that you have been accepted for care. A professional relationship may arise where Cardinal Clinic or an individual clinician agrees to provide you with an assessment, clinical advice or treatment.

Nothing in these terms limits any professional or legal duty that arises where a clinician actually provides assessment, advice or care.

You should not delay seeking medical advice, disregard advice you have been given, or stop or change any prescribed treatment because of something you have read here. If you are unsure about your health or your treatment, speak to your GP, your treating clinician, or contact us to arrange an assessment.

Where we describe conditions, symptoms or treatments, we do so in general terms. Individual circumstances vary considerably, and what is appropriate for one person may not be appropriate for another.

If you need urgent help

This website and our online forms are not monitored continuously, and must not be used to request urgent or emergency help.

In the UK, if someone's life is at risk, or you do not feel able to keep yourself or someone else safe, call 999 or go to the nearest accident and emergency department.

For urgent mental health support that is not immediately life-threatening, use NHS 111 online or call 111 and select the mental health option. You can also request an urgent appointment with your GP.

For confidential emotional support, Samaritans can be contacted free at any time on 116 123.

If you are outside the UK, contact the emergency services or urgent mental health service where you are located.

Our regulation

Cardinal Clinic provides regulated healthcare services from its clinic at Oakley Green, Windsor. The clinic operates as a registered location under the Care Quality Commission registration of Amah Limited, company number 07917011.

Amah Limited is the registered provider for the regulated activities carried on at the Cardinal Clinic location. Cardinal Hospital Limited remains the company that operates this website and contracts with patients for the services provided by Cardinal Clinic.

The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Details of the registration and published inspection information for Cardinal Clinic are available on the Care Quality Commission website. That record notes where the provider of the service has changed, and identifies where a published rating relates to an inspection carried out under a previous provider.

We may change, suspend or withdraw the site or any part of it without notice.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms, or of our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable.

This section applies only to use of the website. It does not limit any responsibility owed in connection with assessment or care, including responsibilities arising under applicable law, professional standards or Care Quality Commission regulation. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
