About Zoe

As the Lead Assistant Psychologist and Designated Safeguarding Lead at The Cardinal Clinic, Zoe combines a rigorous background in clinical neuroscience with a deeply patient-centered philosophy. Zoe strives to bring the rare combination of clinical versatility, operational leadership, and empirical innovation to a service that endeavours to deliver truly compassionate and individualised treatment.

Holding an MSci in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience from Royal Holloway, University of London, alongside Graduate Membership with the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS), she has built a foundation grounded in evidence-based practice with a commitment to the field that extends to academia, where she frequently returns to Royal Holloway as a guest speaker to mentor upcoming clinicians on the realities of modern clinical practice and the journey of rapid leadership transition.

At The Cardinal Clinic, Zoe directly manages a high-performing team of Assistant Psychologists and oversees care planning to ensure all multidisciplinary interventions remain cohesive, safe, and cutting-edge. Her foundational career experience encompasses several years as a specialist SEND academic tutor and managing medical record processes within the NHS. These experiences infuse her leadership with a profound respect for neurodiversity, meticulous information security, and absolute patient confidentiality and support.

Her clinical and diagnostic expertise spans a diverse and complex caseload, including:

Clinical Assessment and Intervention

Delivering psychological support and care planning across complex and diverse presentations.Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored treatment pathways.

Diagnostic Assessment

Administering and supporting the interpretation of a broad range of psychometric and diagnostic measures, including the RAADS-R (Autism), Y-BOCS (OCD), and YSQ-R (Schema Therapy), alongside routine clinical screening tools.

Specialist Treatment Support

Coordinating and supporting the implementation of advanced therapeutic interventions, including FLOW neurostimulation, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), genetic testing (Myogenes), and phlebotomy services.

Zoe is passionate about fostering a culture of psychological safety, clinical excellence, and collaborative practice. Whether supporting patients, mentoring colleagues, or contributing to service development, her goal is to ensure that those accessing care at Cardinal Clinic feel understood, respected, and fully supported throughout their recovery journey.
