Threads of Complexity: Weaving Together Neurodevelopmental, Psychiatric, and Physical Health Needs

Led by Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist and Associate Medical Director at London Psychiatry Clinic, Dr Hayley Ponsford, this session explores the complexity of overlapping neurodevelopmental, psychiatric, and physical health presentations. She will examine diagnostic decision-making in evolving and uncertain cases, and how to integrate developmental, clinical, and systemic information into a flexible formulation.

The session will also consider how services can better respond to complexity through coordinated care, shared understanding, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
