Transition from CAMHS
Cardinal Clinic accepts referrals for young adults (typically 18+) transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). We understand that the transition from child to adult services can be challenging, and we aim to provide continuity of care during this critical period.
How to Refer
CAMHS professionals can refer patients directly by contacting our admissions team on +44 (0)1753 869755 or emailing [email protected]. Please include relevant clinical history, current treatment plan, and any risk assessments.
What We Offer
We provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, psychological therapy, and where needed, residential treatment for young adults with a range of mental health conditions. Our clinicians have experience working with the unique challenges of the CAMHS-to-adult transition.
Supporting Continuity
We liaise closely with referring CAMHS teams to ensure a smooth transition. With the patient's consent, we share assessment outcomes, treatment plans, and progress updates to maintain continuity of care.
