GP Referrals
Referring a Patient
We welcome referrals from GPs, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals. To refer a patient, please contact our admissions team on +44 (0)1753 869755 or email [email protected] with the patient's details and a brief summary of their presenting difficulties.
What We Need
A referral letter is helpful but not essential. Useful information includes: the patient's presenting complaint, relevant psychiatric and medical history, current medication, any risk factors, and the patient's consent to the referral. We can accept referrals by phone, email, or letter.
Response Time
We aim to respond to all referrals within 24 hours and to offer an initial assessment within 5 working days. For urgent referrals, same-day or next-day assessment can often be arranged.
Communication
With the patient's consent, we will keep you informed of the assessment outcome, treatment plan, and progress. We provide discharge summaries and are happy to liaise directly with the referring clinician throughout treatment.
