Anita is a fully qualified and BABCP-Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with wide-ranging experience in the private and corporate sectors. Before commencing clinical work, Anita worked as an International Director of a FTSE 100 business and thus is very familiar with the workplace challenges and stressors facing today’s executives, using CBT techniques to build resilience and to improve wellbeing.
Anita works predominantly with a CBT approach, also using her experience and skills to incorporate evidence-based interventions from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) to improve emotional regulation and functioning.
Anita works with a wide range of presentations including Generalised Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Panic, Phobias and Health Anxiety. In addition, her areas of interest include trans-diagnostic presentations such as Perfectionism and Low Self Esteem, and supporting ADHD in adulthood.
In addition to one-to-one work, Anita is an experienced Group Facilitator at the Cardinal Clinic working in both Inpatient and Day Patient settings.
