General Adult Psychiatry
As a general adult psychiatrist, Dr Azlan Luk assesses and manages all major adult mental disorders, with a particular interest in psychosis, mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, Stress related illness. His style of working is one of a collaborative, holistic and pragmatic approach with the ultimate goal of recovery.

Training & Experience
Dr Azlan Luk obtained his medical degree at the University of Nottingham in 1997, trained in general medicine in Essex and went on to complete accredited basic psychiatric training in the Nottingham area. He did his higher training in General Adult Psychiatry on the Oxford Deanery Higher Training Scheme.
Qualifications that are held include Bachelor of Medical Science (Behavioural Sciences), Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (BM.BS) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry with merit; all from the University of Nottingham.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) and is on the General Medical Council specialist register.
Dr Luk has been a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2007 and currently works part time in the NHS as a Consultant Psychiatrist (Working Age) in a Community Mental health Recovery Service in Surrey.
In his varied career, he has worked in a wide variety of roles in psychiatry including acute inpatient services, home treatment teams, community services, liaison psychiatry in a general hospital and assertive outreach services.
He provides private psychiatric services at the Cardinal Clinic in Windsor and at Berkshire Wellbeing Clinic in Theale.
He was also an examiner for the Clinical Assessment of Skills and Competencies (CASC) component for the Royal College of Psychiatrists membership examinations.
