Overview
Dr Sharma is a general adult consultant psychiatrist, who believes in patient centred care. She is passionate about taking a holistic approach in managing patients with mental health disorders.
Dr. Sharma has been a consultant since 2015 and has expertise in assessing and managing a variety of mental health disorders. She has worked in the NHS since 2004 and is currently employed as an inpatient consultant in one of the NHS Trusts.

Training & Experience
Dr Sharma completed her M.B.B.S. in India before moving to the United Kingdom in 2004.
In 2016, she obtained her CCT after completing her core training in Psychiatry in Bristol and higher training in General Adult Psychiatry from Springfield and St George’s University.
She has been employed with Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust since receiving her CCT, where she worked as an Inpatient Consultant in her final year of training from June 2015 to January 2016.
She has also worked as a Locum Consultant in the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service before taking her current position as an Inpatient Consultant at Farnham Road Hospital. Dr Sharma worked as a Medical Lead at Farnham Road Hospital from 2018 to 2020.
Dr Sharma enjoys teaching and regularly participates in the teaching of staff and junior doctors.
