Thames Valley Business Awards 2018

“The Thames Valley boasts some of the most successful and dynamic companies in the UK. It remains the cauldron of the country’s high-technology industries, the home of many manufacturing companies and a base for a wide variety of excellent service and professional organisations”

Last year, we were delighted to co-sponsor a new category Workplace Mental Health with our colleagues at the Institute of Directors and Brighter Berkshire.  We were overwhelmed with the calibre and quantity of entries.

The winners in 2017 were Fourfront Group

“Fourfront Group were immensely proud to win the 2017 Workplace Mental Health award. ‘Mental Health’ is not just a buzz word to us and the Construction industry is being scrutinised more then ever before on its approach towards it. We aim to lead by example – with a culture of openness and education on wellbeing and mental health. We have implemented various strategies to achieve this, with varying success – so it was uplifting to find out our programme was on the right track and we have used this as a great platform to build on!”

This year we are sole sponsors of the award and are looking to hear from companies who have a strong attitude towards mental health issues and which have made provision for staff dealing with mental health issues, reduced stigma associated with mental health and have taken steps to encourage healthy working patterns.

The entry form is easy to complete and really doesn’t take much time to complete. You can find the nomination form here.  If your company is making real progress in tackling work place mental health issues, we’d love to hear from you and receive your entry.
