‘Psychopathy’ is a fascinating area of study that evokes strong feelings in all of us.
The Guardian has a well balanced article about ‘Psychopathy’; that the traits are on a spectrum and all of us are somewhere on that spectrum. Those that enter treatment are usually at the extreme end of the spectrum where the psychopathy is part of a serious personality disorder and has a great impact on the person, their families and the wider community. What is needed is better understanding of the causality and targeted treatment for change in the knowledge that change is possible.
