Dr Danny Allen, Consultant Psychiatrist commented ‘It is now well recognised by researchers and psychiatrists that ADHD is a neuro-developmental disorder. Furthermore it is very rarely found in isolation with the vast majority of patients having some associated condition.
Any research, such as this, which offers the hope of prevention, is to be welcomed as treatment can be complex and need to continue over many years’.
