Dr Richard Fry
Child Adolescent Family and Young Adult Psychiatry
Dr Fry has been in the field for over twenty years. He began his medical career training as a GP and then moved into psychiatry. Family therapy training followed and then advanced Child Psychiatry training at Great Ormond Street Hospital. After spells as a Consultant and Clinical Director in London and Hampshire CAMHS services he moved into the Independent sector in order to offer quality services across the age range, working with hand-picked Associates to offer joined-up thinking and approaches. He sees all the usual range of conditions and is particularly proud to be able to offer a new intervention for children who are (often) almost but not quite on the Asperger’s spectrum and struggle in social settings like school and group situations. This is done in collaboration with specially trained therapists, a team of who Dr Fry now heads up. He is also interested in integrative psychiatry using idea from across the range of holistic health (see www.drfry.org.uk).
